It can be ideal added to salads and meals after they have been cooked due to its spicy taste.Black seed oil can be taken internally with about 1 to 3 teaspoons per day. Although it is a natural product, side effects may occur in case of excessive use. One is recommended to take with caution to begin with and to consult a health care specialist before using it.The starting dose for adults:
  • For 1st day take a 1/4 teaspoon with food
  • For the next 2 – 7 days, increase the dosage to ½ teaspoon twice daily
  • Slowly build up your dosage in increments until you take up to 3 teaspoons per day
For children and infants:
  • Children aged eleven and under could take half the recommended adult dosage
  • Children under the age of five should only be given a drop or two, to begin with. Strong black seed oil is not recommended for children under five.
Your dosage and progression depend on your individual response to the oil. A higher dosage from the start could lead to adverse reactions.Your body is only able to rid itself of toxins and congestion at a given rate. Initial high doses could leave you feeling unwell.
